Reflect on your own level of wellness: physically, psychologically, and spiritually

Physical wellbeing – I give myself a 7 for Physical wellbeing.  I do not have any chronic illnesses and I am not obese, but I could exercise more to be physically healthier.  A goal to be physically healthier is to run more and also start doing yoga which will help with my spiritual and psychological wellbeing also.

Spiritual wellbeing - I give myself a 6 for spiritual wellbeing. A goal for spiritual wellness would be to meditate or use guided imagery to help relieve stress and clear my mind.  According to Dacher (2006), “When our mind abides in calmness, we gain openness, ease, connectedness, loving-kindness, and insight” (p. 40).

Psychological wellbeing - I give myself a 7 for psychological well-being because I need to work on being more positive and try not to get stressed so easily.  A goal for Psychological wellness for me is to stop being negative and try not to let small things stress me out.

To help me move forward to each goal, my husband also wants to be healthier and it is easier if we both get up every day and go to the gym. He is a hard worker and he will help me reach my goals.

  1. I also would like to start doing yoga and other meditations to help calm my mind and body. I also need to work on being more positive and not stressing. This is something I made sure to start doing last month and it has actually been going very well. I do not feel as stressed about situations that I cannot control

    1. Lauren, I'm glad to hear that you started being more positive and that it is going well for you. I need to realize that there are situations I cannot control and stop worrying about it.
