Meeting Aesclepius Exercise
I will have to try this meditation practice again another day, my mind kept wondering. I also kept wanting to change “the wise person” I was thinking about. Even after I restarted the exercise my mind kept wondering. I also felt like the pauses were too long. I do, however enjoy most of these meditation exercises and I feel that I do have an increase in spiritual and psychological wellness since I started this class. I have learned to use relaxation exercises to help me when I feel stressed or anxious.

It is very difficult to keep the mind from wandering during meditations. It took me forever to learn how to clear my mind. When I first started using meditation I wanted to give up because it seemed too hard and frustrating. I felt like it wasn't possible for me to do it. I am so glad that I kept trying. I have now learned to completely clear my mind and focus on the task at hand. I hope you keep trying and wish you the best of luck. Mind training is completely possible if you set your mind to it!
ReplyDeleteI had the same experience during my time with this meditation, I just kept losing track of what I was doing, and found myself falling into making lists of the things I needed to accomplish! I did this one a second time as well, and did have a little better luck the second go round, but still found this exercise a bit difficult. I am proud for you to keep going, and that you feel you are making progress!
